Fall Wreath

wedding flowers
I love wreaths. Do you? But darn it they are spendy! SO I decided to make a fall one. If you skip the store wreaths you can make it just how you want it and save enough to make 2!! And who doesn't love a wreath for every season!! :)

For this one you need 2 stick wreaths. One large and one small. ( You can buy wreaths in our shop or find them in a craft store.)
I used papered wire to secure the wreaths but you can use whatever you have.

I wound the wire between the sticks of both wreaths. I bound it in 4 places!

I used 2 packages of pumpkins ( I bought them at Michaels and only spent 8 dollars on both packages.) I bought 2 packages of green moss foamies at Family Dollar and used fall leaf sticks and sparkle leaves. I would rush over to the craft stores and get leaves they are all discounting fall floral right now!

First I cut up my sparkle leaves and applied glue to the stem and stuck them in kitty corner from each-other along the wreath!

Bunch the leaves together and make sure you put leaves along the outside edge and in the middle of the wreath. One of the tale tail signs of a bad wreath is that its flat. You want your wreath to have dimension and levels.

Next group your pumpkins. I made 4 groups on either side of the sparkle leaves. 2 of your groups should be 3-4 pumpkins and your other 2 groups should be smaller with only 2 pumpkins.

Fight that side of you that wants to make EVERYTHING even! It looks to fake and matchy! Mix it up!

Now that you have your pumpkins placed, look at the bottom of the pumpkin so you can tell where the bottom meets the wreath. Now glue along the bottom.

Right away after you set it down glue the pumpkin to its neighbors! That will help reinforce it and make sure he stays where you glue him!

Now take your leaves and cut them into individual stems so that you can place them just where you want them.

Glue the end of the stem and then stick it in to fill in between pumpkin groups.

Make sure to add leaves on the inside and on the bottom side of the pumpkins.

Now lets get out your great green foamies.

Hot glue the bottom

Now add the moss foamies into the wholes around the sparkle leaves.

Make sure you use these foamies to fill in wholes and wrap around the outside and inside of the wreath! I think they finish it off really well!
